Having just a moment, inspiration has come to me from my lovely blogging friends Gillian Colbert and Bimodal Tendencies. So I decided to share, however briefly.
Yesterday, at Black Door Press, Gillian posted a song she had in her head when she woke up. So I decided to share this one. This song has been in my fucking head all weekend. And no matter what I listen to, it keeps coming back. Now, I loved it when I was 14. Loved it. I think I have the words written down in two or three different poetry/writing books I used to carry around with me. But I haven’t heard or thought about this song in years. But, there it is, on rewind in my head, as I travel up and down stairs carrying boxes and furniture.
And have I mentioned yet, that I have way too much fucking shit. I think, since I will be living out of a suitcase for a bit, with everything else in storage, I will be given the opportunity to gain a little focus. A little bit of insight into what I need, mentally, physically, and spiritually (hopeful, aren’t I). So I feel as though there will be a big purge of stuff (shit), once I end up back, reunited with all my things.
Anyway… Back to the song… So not the type of music I currently listen to, not by a long shot, but stuck here in my head, regardless…
